Shen Cai is an Associate Professor in School of Computer Science and Technology, Donghua University. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Shandong University in 2004 and 2007 respectively (supervised by Prof. Xiaojuan Wu). In 2012, he graduated from the Key Laboratory of Ministry of Education of Shanghai Jiaotong University “System Control and Information Processing” with the direction of pattern recognition and intelligent system (supervised by Prof. Yuncai Liu). In 2013, he joined Donghua University and bulit Visual and Geometric Perception Lab (VGPL). Now he is mainly engaged in the field of computer vision. The research directions include: camera calibration, pose estimation, 3D object representation/classification/reconstruction. He has published more than 10 high-quality papers as the first author or the corresponding author, and obtained three national invention patents. He has served as a reviewer for many journals/conferences and an editor of SCI journal KSII.
