Shen Cai is an Associate Professor in School of Computer Science and Technology, Donghua University. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from Shandong University in 2004 and 2007, respectively (supervised by Prof. Xiaojuan Wu). In 2012, he graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University with the major of pattern recognition and intelligent system (supervised by Prof. Yuncai Liu). In 2013, he joined Donghua University and bulit Visual and Geometric Perception Lab (VGPL). Now he is mainly engaged in the field of computer vision and computer graphics. The research directions include: camera calibration, pose estimation, 3D reconstruction, object classification, 3D hierarchical/concise/shell representation. He has published more than 20 high-quality papers as the first author or the corresponding author, and obtained five national invention patents. He has served as a reviewer for many top journals/conferences and an editor of SCI journal KSII.
